Inactivity Leads to Mental Decline: Why Won't We Simply Do a Fat Loss Fitness Routine?

Startling new research shows that being a slob, over the long term, can lead to mental health challenges. Evidence presented recently by the University of Bristol research team shows that long term inactivity can lead to dementia and depression.

How does that make you feel? I feel a knot in the stomach hearing research like this. All around the western world obesity is growing. The figures are frightening. The uptake of diabetes is soaring which usually has a direct link to obesity and lack of exercise.

Currently only 35% of men and 24% of women reach the recommended weekly amount of physical activity.

Professor Nanette Mutrie, an expert in exercise and sport psychology at the University of Strathclyde, "It's only recently that people have begun to see the link between physical activity and mental health.

As a society when will we wake up and heed the call of the experts? Put simply, ten to twenty minutes of exercise three to four times a week really is not that challenging. Why don't we help ourselves to become fit and healthy? It really is not hard to do or difficult. Fat loss fitness routines are easy to do and are fun when you find the right one for you.
